Paulette Miller
Hello, My name is Paulette Miller.
I have been an associate for the last four years. This year, I will be taking the California MFT Clinical Exam. In my practice as an associate, I have conducted couples and individual therapy and worked with both teens and children. I have worked tirelessly to help my clients "turn the page" and write a new chapter in their lives. I work well with people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, helplessness, and hopelessness. I have assisted clients in improving their communication skills that impact not only what they are saying, but also what they are hearing.
Using both Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, my clients and I take a journey together to uncover what has been the obstacle that has prevented them from living their best life. I have found that often, people just need a safe place to talk without judgment. Judgment of who they are; judgment of the past behavior they engaged in because they were in pain; and judgment of their own self-inflicted pain when they don't feel worthy of love and respect.
My goal is for clients to have the tools they need to address the life issues as they come. Life often throws us curve balls, and there is no way to avoid the twists and turns up ahead. However, utilizing therapeutic techniques, tools, and applications, I help clients balance the scales of life without tipping over.
